INLINE 5 Software Download

Note that if you have an INLINE 5 adapter, you must install the INLINE 5 PC Driver that is included in this software. The INLINE 5 Software installation is a typical Windows-based, self-executing installation. Version 5.5.3.0 of the executable setup file installs the latest INLINE 5 PC Driver, which allows RP1210-compatible software applications to communicate with the INLINE 5 adapter. The latest version of the reflash utility and version 5.36 of the firmware are also included in this download and will be installed automatically in their proper folders in your PC when you run the install program, as described below.

The steps for installing the INLINE 5 software are listed below.

  1. Download the INLINE 5 zip file by clicking on the button above.
  2. Unzip and extract the executable file using zip/unzip software.
  3. Click on the Windows Start menu and click Run.
  4. Click on the Browse button and locate the file you have downloaded.
  5. Click the OK button to install the latest INLINE 5 Driver, reflash utility, and firmware on your PC.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
  7. Connect +8 V to +50 V power to your INLINE 5 adapter through the DB25 cable you have.
  8. Use your DB9F to DB9M serial cable or USB cable to connect the INLINE 5 adapter to the proper PC communication port.
